LBP serves the community at Feed My Starving Children

Aurora, IL, March 7, 2018 -

LBP Manufacturing LLC (LBP) recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children of Aurora IL.  The LBP team helped to pack rice and protein packs that are eventually shipped to global areas suffering from hunger and starvation. In just under 3 hours, the team assisted in packing 151 boxes which will create 32,832 meals for 90 children.

LBP is dedicated to serving communities through volunteer and wellness groups. “I decided to volunteer for this event because I am a firm believer that NO ONE should go hungry in a world with so many resources and so much waste. It is also nice to come together with co-workers for a shared cause. Events like this serve a greater purpose but also allow us to spend time with people we may not see or interact with otherwise,” said LBP employee Shelia Hopkins.
