Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy
Whether you are an individual inventor or a small business, LBP wants to make it simple to share your ideas with us. The information in this section will help answer your questions about what our team is seeking and how best to reach out to LBP. We look more favorably upon new ideas that are aligned to the company’ business platforms, with a focus on providing products that bring considerable innovation to the market. Please note that LBP will not consider any ideas or suggestions for advertising, marketing campaigns, artwork, slogans, logos, brands, trademarks or other similar items.
LBP prefers that your idea be described in an issued or pending patent application. However, LBP will accept an idea submission that is not patented or does not involve a pending application but only on a non-confidential basis and we may decline to review your submission if it appears to lack this form of intellectual property protection. You may wish to consult a legal representative versed in intellectual property law matters or the inventor resources available from the United States Patent and Trademark office before considering submission of your unsolicited idea to LBP.
LBP will acknowledge receipt of your submission. Then our goal will be to get back to you within 30 days to provide an initial indication as to whether or not we would like to discuss your submission in more detail. Occasionally, the initial review may take a little longer depending on the complexity of your submission.
