In an effort to generate enthusiasm in the job market, Virginia Career Works-Capital Region held a job fair event Friday, June 21st in Henrico County, Virginia. The organizers of the event cited the sudden closure of a nearby printing plant in the county, which led to nearly 240 employees being let go, as the reason behind the job fair.
LBP Manufacturing participated in the event offering 30 positions for general labor, press operators, and former operators. “It’s an unfortunate situation that these families have been faced with, but LBP is a part of this community, and we knew we could help,” said Senior Human Resources Manager, Glenn Ballard.
LBP is looking to fill all 30 positions by July and currently interviewing. Please visit https://www.lbpmfg.com/careers/ to learn more about all the openings LBP has to offer.
